Evening
Get into the spirit of Halloween with a variety of events at some of San Diego’s most popular attractions. Conveniently located on Mission Bay, SeaWorld is hosting Spooktacular for all-ages enjoyment as well as the spooky Howl-O-Scream for older kids. LEGOLAND San Diego is also hosting their annual Brick-or-Treat event for additional family fun.
Family 3-Day Fall Itinerary: Day 2
Morning
Plan a photo-worthy day trip the whole family will love. Approximately an hour from the Bahia sits Julian, a charming mountain town that feels extra special during the fall season. Visit one of many surroundings orchards for an interactive family activity: apple picking. Afterward, reward yourself with a slice of tasty apple pie at a bakery in town.
Afternoon
After a busy morning out and about, take some time to relax and recharge back at the Bahia Resort Hotel. Put on your swim gear for an afternoon poolside or head to the Bahia’s secluded beach to build sandcastles and lounge in a shaded cabana.
Evening
During October, embrace the many Kids Free San Diego offerings throughout the city. Along with complimentary entry to museums and other major perks, kids can eat free at a variety of participating restaurants. We suggest heading to the nearby Oceana Coastal Kitchen for a delicious family meal with a stunning bay view.

Morning
Spend the morning exploring Mission Bay by land via bikes, a surrey, or your own two feet. Comprised of 4,600 acres, Mission Bay is the largest man-made aquatic park of its kind and is surrounded by more than 10 miles of flat pathways.
Afternoon
After a leisurely morning, head just a couple of blocks over to Belmont Park. At this iconic oceanside amusement park, you'll find everything from a historic wooden roller coaster and bumper cars to souvenir shops and sunset-facing restaurants.
Evening
